About the Job
We are Gothenburg! We now need you to help us ensure that our services meet current and upcoming information security requirements.
You are development-oriented and have a good sense of the balance between security and user-friendliness in services, principles, and working methods. As a business developer with us, you support our department's continued journey to be a stable and qualitative service provider. All to give the city's administrations and companies the best possible conditions to carry out their core missions.
The Department for Shared Services delivers digital services to administrations and companies within Gothenburg City. Currently, the services are found within the areas of HR, finance, as well as communication, management, and governance. Our service portfolio is primarily based on the management and development of existing services, but also the development of new services. The department's service portfolio currently contains over 20 services.
You will work as a business developer placed in the overarching unit of strategy and portfolio. Initially, the focus is on ensuring that the department's services meet information security requirements. Other tasks are of a more general business development nature, such as support and development of internal processes as well as support and development of existing and upcoming services. In your work, you will handle questions from strategic to operational levels. In most assignments, you will work together with others in the department, such as service strategists, management leaders, and managers, as well as colleagues in other departments.
Concrete examples of tasks include:
- ensuring that shared services comply with current information security legislation
- identifying, preparing, and packaging changes in the information security area for our existing and upcoming services
- identifying and translating needs into requirements in our procurements
- leading change by educating and creating understanding and acceptance for changes among individuals and customers
- contributing to improving the administration's existing governance processes
- project/assignment management, conducting investigations, and preparing decision support
- monitoring the external environment related to assignments.
Your tasks may vary over time and can to some extent be adapted to your specialist and interest areas within the framework of the position.
About You
We are looking for someone with a university degree that we assess as relevant for the assignment, for example, in computer science, information management, law, or system science. You have worked for several years with business development or project management in the area of digitization, in the intersection between core operations and IT. Additionally, you have experience in information security work based on GDPR, NIS2, or the Cybersecurity Act.
It is advantageous if you have some of the following experiences/skills:
- worked with change management
- knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Archives Act and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act
- worked with the Data Protection Regulation in the public sector
- worked with data protection issues in organizations that operate with a systematic and risk-based approach.
As a person, you can explain your assignments in a simple, clear, and pedagogical way using various presentation tools. You ensure that your message gets across and adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation.
You work meticulously, goal- and result-oriented, driven by creating a good outcome, and ensure that you complete your tasks and follow up on the results. With a focus on the goal, you can reprioritize your work when conditions or needs change.
You are stimulated by collaborating with others, are curious, want to acquire knowledge, and share your knowledge. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible.
